slippery slope
I am in a bit of trouble. I have been falling into the trap of comparing my creative work to the creative work of others, more experienced and more skilled. Of course, I come up lacking.

I can relate, but you just have to take this approach -
If there is a beautiful song in the world is that a reason we should not sing?
Other's gifts should be an inspiration to act, not a reason for inaction.
